Austin Humane Society has a Starr
During this show we will gain insight on how the Austin Humane Society informs residents of their services and events. Lisa Starr, the public relations manager, is my guest.
Animal Trustees of Austin
ATA is made up of staff and volunteers united by one common interest – the welfare of the animals. This organization has grown to include clinics for both wellness and spay/neuter services, provides several programs for animal welfare, and hosts several events throughout the year. Animal Trustees of Austin has been chosen to be a part of the ASPCA’s Mission: Orange (Austin) program, a focused effort to create a country of humane communities where animals receive the compassion and respect due to them.
Austin Avian Rescue and Rehabilitation
There are estimates of over 60 million parrots and other captive birds in the U.S. today. Under ideal conditions many of these birds can exceed life spans of 75 years, frequently outliving multiple owners. The needs of each individual bird will be considered to solve behavioral and environmental problems is a mission of AARR.
