Therese Kopiwoda is the owner of Austin Pet First Aid, a Pet Tech First Aid & Care instructor and the Editorial Director of Wishbones for Pets. This nationwide program of pet sitters collect goods for pets during the Thanksgiving season. She is the proud mom of two dogs. Her goal is to empower fellow pet owners and pet professionals with the skills and confidence that will enable them to react more effectively during an emergency to increase the chances of their pets’ survival.
